Yay it’s Friday! I don’t know about you but this week has gone by super fast. One minute it’s Sunday night and I’m wondering where the weekend has gone, and the next it’s Friday evening. Perhaps it’s because this week has been so busy at work. I’ve been a very busy beaver indeed.
So this is the first post in my new series called Friday Photo. Each week I’ll be sharing a photograph that I’ve taken, it could be recent or one from years ago. I love photography, even if I don’t always take wonderful pictures. I grew up with a father who always had a camera and now he’s retired he takes hundreds of photos a week. Seriously!
Looking back through old photo albums, reminiscing about times gone by, is one of my favourite pastimes. The problem with digital cameras is that we’re losing printed photos. I haven’t made an album in years – with the exception of my wedding album. I’d like to use this series as an excuse to dig through my old photos. I hope you like them 🙂
I took this photo last Sunday on the way to Deal in Kent. The sunshine finally broke through after what seems like weeks of grey, rainy days. Hubby borrowed an awesome car for the weekend and put too much petrol in it so we ended up going for a couple of long drives to use it up before he had to give it back! It was lovely to get out and about without actually having to be outside because it was still blowing a gale and was pretty chilly.
