It’s competition time again!
I don’t know about you but I love magazines. I actually subscribe to Wanderlust and Lonely Planet Traveller magazines and have done for a number of years. I won’t throw those babies away either, much to my husband’s dismay! I’m a bit of a hoarder at heart; I’ve still got a cupboard-full of wedding magazines even though we’ve been married two months. Even with the discounts that subscriptions offer, magazines aren’t a particularly cheap habit, plus everyone loves something for free! So it was pretty exciting to receive a message from Zinio offering me the chance to give 10 readers (hopefully I can round up 10 people!) a free magazine subscription!
The winners can choose a subscription for any magazine that Zinio offer (the length of the subscription will depend on the title chosen).
***Amendment 29/7/13 23:17 BST – I’m now only giving away 9 magazine subscriptions. One will be kept by myself. I have contacted a number of the competition entrants to offer them a prize and so many haven’t contacted me within the required time frame that I’ve given up! Zinio have sponsored this post and running the competition has been quite a lot of hassle as it turns out. I hope you understand! I’ll let you know what the digital magazine is like! ***
If you’ve never heard of Zinio, don’t worry I hadn’t, then you’re in for a treat. They offer over 5,500 magazines from around the world. You can buy individual copies or whole subscriptions, which you download onto the Zinio app so that you can enjoy your magazine on pretty much any device, wherever you are. Perfect for the train or plane. Let’s face it, most magazines aren’t exactly handbag friendly and they can get dog-eared quickly in a backpack. You don’t even need to buy magazines at all, you can simply read a huge number of articles for free on their website.
Zinio Z-Pass
The Z-Pass is only available in the US at the moment but will soon be available internationally. It’s a sweet offer that gives you 3 magazines for $5 per month. You can have the same magazines each month or chop and change from month to month, meaning that you can sample a whole range of titles. This allows you to decide whether you like a magazine before committing to a yearly subscription.
So how do I win I hear you ask!
To enter, all you have to do is answer this simple question:
How many issues of Backpacker magazine are included in a subscription?
The closing date for entries is 11pm British Summer Time (GMT+1)on 10th July 2013.
Winners will be announced on 11th July and will need to supply me with their full name, email address and the name of the magazine they would like. For privacy reasons, please don’t write your full email address in your comment. All I need for now is the answer to the question.
